The Austrian Silver Philharmonic
Identical to the Vienna Gold Philharmonic Coin, the silver philharmonic coin is issued as a tribute to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The reverse design of the coins depicts the musical instruments used in an orchestra, whereas the obverse depicts the great organ in the Golden Hall in Vienna's Musikverein, the concert hall of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The design of the coin is by Thomas Pesendorfer.
The silver philharmonic coin is struck in .999 fine silver, offered only in 1 troy ounce denomination, it carries the face value of €1.50.
