The Mexican Silver Libertad

The Mexican Silver Libertad is a silver bullion coin issued from Mexico. The coins have no face value and is denoted by its weight in troy ounces or "onza", it is offered in denominations of 1/20, 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2 and 5 onza.

The obverse of the coin features the coat of arms of Mexico, sometimes with the obsolete versions. The other side of the coin depicts a winged Goddess Victoria in front of a landscape with the volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccihuatl.
